This is a simple burfi which does not involve any sugar string consistency.So if you want to start learning burfis you can start with this

- Grated coconut - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Ghee - 1 teaspoon
- Cardamom - a pinch
- Take coconut and sugar in a wide pan
- Start stir it in medium flame.Just sprinkle a spoon of water
- The sugar will dissolve and it will start merging with coconut
- Keep stirring it after sometime the colour will slightly change
- Within few minutes the entire mass will come together and starts leaving the sides of the kadai
- Add ghee and elachi powder now.Stir it
- Within 2 minutes it will start getting porous and completely leavees the kadai sides
- Switch off the stove
- Transfer it into a greased burfi tray
- Once it becomes warm cut into desired shapes
