Raw Banana Chips

Super crispy chips.Just much it or serve it as a side dish

  • Raw Banana - 2 nos
  • Oil - as required for deep frying
  • Salt - less than 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chat Masala - 1/2 teaspoon or more
  • Turmeric - a pinch
  • Peel the skin of the bananas and slice them using a slicer
  • Take water in a bowl and put salt and turmeric to it. Immerse the banana slices into it. This is to prevent discoloration
  • Take it out after 5 minutes and spread it on a clean cloth and pat dry
  • Meanwhile heat oil in a wide kadai
  • Drop the banana slices carefully into the oil.Do it in batches

  • Fry well on both the sides. It should be golden brown in colour
  • Take it out carefully and place it in a colander or on a tissue paper so that the excess oil drains off 

  • Transfer it into a broad basin and put chat masala.Close it with a lid and shake well
  • Now yummy crispy chips is ready
