Mooli Paratha (or) Mulangi Roti

Ingredients

For the outer cover or Roti

Wheat Flour - 2 cups (also little for dusting)
Water - approximately 1/2 cup (or as needed)
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Mix all the items together (except water) and knead it very well by adding water little by little.Make the dough and cover it with a wet cloth for about 15- 20 minutes

Stuffing

Grated Radish - 11/2 cups
Cumin (Jeera Powder) - 1 teaspoon
Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon
Chilly Powder - 1 teaspoon or more
Garam Masala Powder - 1 teaspoon
Dry Mango Powder (Aamchur Powder) - 1/2 to 1 teaspoon
Turmeric - small pinch
Salt - little

Coriander Leaves (finely chopped) - 1 tablespoon
Oil - 2 teaspoons

Heat oil in a pan and add radish and all the powders.Mix well.Leave it in low flame for about a minute and add chopped coriander leaves

Method

1.Divide the roti dough into equal sized balls.I got 13 balls with this measurement
2.Take one ball and flatten it using a rolling pin Spread the stuffing on the flattened ball

3. Now flatten another ball (roti) and place it over the stuffing and close it on all the sides. This well prevent the stuffing from coming out

4. Heat it in a Tawa using oil.Spread butter over Mooli Paratha if required
5.Mooli Paratha is ready. It can be served with curd and pickle.
