Basic Roti Dough / Kneading Roti Dough

I wanted to post this because I had difficulty in making correct roti dough during my initial stages of cooking.. Iam sure many of you are great experts in making Roti but then Iam blogging this with an hope that it will be useful for Beginners
The kneading should be perfect to proceed further

Ingredients
  • Atta / Wheat Flour / Multigrain Flour - 2 cups or more
  • Luke warm water - 1 cup (approximately)
  • Salt - little
Method
  • In a wide bowl / broad basin take wheat flour and salt.Mix it evenly
  • Now make a small well in the center pour little water
  • Gradually gather the flour together with your fingers and start mixing / kneading it.Initially it will be sticky
  • Sprinkle some more water little by little while kneading the dough
  • Once it comes together it will look like this as seen in the pic.Now stop adding water
  • Keep kneading it and the dough will start becoming smooth and pliable
  • Again knead it you will reach a stage where the dough will not to stick to the basin
  • If you keep your finger on the dough you will be able to see finger impression. Its the correct texture
  • Now keep it closed at least for 1/2 hour
