Yet another simple chutney which goes well with Idly / Dosa / Paratha

Mint Coriander Chutney is ready.Serve with Idly / Dosa

Part - 1
- Onion - 2 nos
- Tomato - 2 nos
- Red chilly - 2 nos
- Green chilly - 2 nos
- Tamarind - small ball
- Mint leaves - 1 cup (tightly packed)
- Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
Part 3 - Seasoning and others
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Channa dhal - 1/2 teaspoon
- Hing - little
- Scraped coconut - 2 teaspoons or more
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
Step 1 - Grinding
- Grind the items mentioned under "Part 1" without adding water
- Put mint and coriander leaves in it and grind it once more.No need to add water
Step 2 - Seasoning and chutney
- In a kadai heat oil and season with mustard, hing and channa dhal
- Pour the ground paste in it.Wahs the mixer jar with very little water and add it here.Put salt and saute till the raw smell goes.Close the lid and cook for 10 minutes
- Once done add coconut and switch off the stove.Mix well
Mint Coriander Chutney is ready.Serve with Idly / Dosa
