Frozen Peas Raitha

We normally stock certain items like frozen peas, tomato puree, ketchup in the fridge.So also the readily available vegetables in most of the households are onion, tomato and potatoes
I made this quick raitha using frozen peas which goes well with any paratha.This is an extension of
Onion Raitha

  • Oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Curry leaves - little
  • Green chillies - 2 or 3 (finely chopped)
  • Onion - 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
  • Frozen Peas - 1 cup
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Curd - as required
  • Coriander leaves - little
  • Heat oil in a pan season with mustard, curry leaves and green chillies
  • Saute onions with a pinch of salt
  • Add frozen peas and salt for the raitha here.Cook till the peas becomes soft - just matter of 5 minutes
  • Transfer it into a serving bowl and allow it to cool
  • Now add curd and mix well
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
  • Serve with Parathas
