Ingredients:
Big Brinjal - 1
Curry Powder (or) Sambar Powder (or) Garam Masala Powder - 1 Teaspoon
Chilli Powder - 1/2 or 1 Teaspoon
Salt - 1 Teaspoon
Chopped Corrainder Leaves - 2 Tablespoons
Method
- Remove the stem (green portion) of the Brinjal
- Cut the Brinjal into 2 or 3 pieces and Pressure cook for 2 whistles
- After releasing it.Wash the Brinjal under cold water (running tap water)
- Peel the skin of the Brinjal and mash it well.If required run it in a mixer.It will be a smooth paste
- Add Curry Powder and Chilly Powder to it and mix well.Cook it in a low flame.
- Add salt and mix well
- Finally Garnish with coriander leaves
- It goes well with Plain rice, Dosa and Roti
