I adapted this recipe from "Kamala's Corner" and did little bit of changes
Ingredients
Method
1. Roast cashew nuts in 1 teaspoon of ghee and keep it aside
2. Add one more teaspoon of ghee and roast the poha in it till it turns brown in color.Do this in low flame and it will take only 2-3 minutes
3. Now pour in hot milk (keep two tablespoons of milk aside) and water.Allow poha to cook in it till it becomes soft
4. Add sugar to it and mix well.Dissolve kesari powder in milk and add it to the poha mixture
5. Allow the sugar to dissolve completely and add remaining ghee.
6. Now add the fried cashews and mix well.Switch off the stove and leave it for 3 minutes
7. Serve it hot
Note
Make sure poha is well cooked in milk otherwise it will be very chewy
