Ingredients
- Rice flour - 1 1/2 cups
- Onion - 2 nos (roughly chopped)
- Green chilly - 2 or more (cut into small pieces)
- Coriander leaves - little
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Water - little (for kneading)
- Oil - for kneading and cooking
Method
- In a mixing bowl first put roughly chopped onions, chillies and coriander leaves
- Add rice flour, salt and mix with fingers
- Now pour 1 table spoon of oil and mix well.Add water little by little and knead well to form a dough.Divide it into three big sized balls
- Smear your palm with oil
- Take one ball at a time and spread it along the walls of a kadi using your fingers.Now turn on the stove
- Put 1 teaspoon of oil around the edges of roti.Within few minutes you will be able to notice thin brown crust along the sides of roti
- Now carefully flip to across to the other side.Take it out after 2 minutes
Serve hot
Note
Wash the base of the kadai alone before making each and every roti otherwise the kadi will be very hot to handle
