But here is a simple recipe which involves very less oil and no microwave at all

Ingredients
- Vadaam (any variety) - 10 pieces or as required
- Oil - 1 teaspoon or more
- Mustarrd seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Curry leaves - little
- Crush / break the vadaams roughly into small pieces
- Heat oil in a pan season with mustard seeds and curry leaves
- Add crushed vadaam pieces and saute it.You will notice the vadaam pieces will puff up
- Saute for few more seconds and it will be roasted nicely.Absolutely no compromise in taste
