This is a simple tangy spicy chutney made out of mango and coconut.Its a good accompaniment for Dosa, Upma and Pongal.It can be mixed with hot plain rice also
Ingredients
- Raw mango pieces - 1 cup
- Coconut pieces - 3/4 - 1 cup
- Jaggery - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Oil - 1/2+1/2 teaspoons
- Rechillies - 6
- Hing - 1 pinch
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Curry leaves - little
Method
- Heat oil in a pan spray hing in it.Fry red chillies till breaking consistency.Cool
- Take mango pieces, coconut pieces, jaggery in a mixer jar.Add little water and grind it to a smooth paste
- Add the fried chillies to it, put salt and grind it once more
