Home made Cadbury

Kid's love chocolates and this is a simple home made cadbury


Ingredients
  • Milk Powder - 1 cup / 100g
  • Drinking Chocolate - 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar - 3/4 cup / 75 g
  • Butter - 25 g at room temperature

Sift milk powder and drinking chocolate powder together.Keep it aside


Method
  • Take sugar in a wide bottomed kadai.Pour water just to immerse it
  • Stir it once and switch on the stove.Keep the flame high, sugar will dissolve and starts emitting bubbles
  • Now simmer the flame and look for one string consistency as follows
Dip a flat surface ladle / spatula into the sugar syrup and drop it onto a spoon / cup.Wet your fore finger and touch the syrup and then touch your fore finger and thumb together and pull it apart.You will be able see unbreakable single thread.Kindly take a look at the picture below


  • Once reached slowly add milk powder and drinking chocolate powder mix by stiring continuously
  • Mix well and add butter
  • Butter will melt and spread throughout
  • Keep stiring it.The entire mixture will come together
  • Look out for big bubbles.Now its the right time.The mixture will start leaving the sides of kadai
  • Now the entire mass will come together like a ball.Switch off the stove
  • Transfer into a greased plate and allow it to become warm
  • Cut into desired shapes
  • Arrange it like a cadbury and give it to kids
