As the name suggests the dosa/adai batter can be made within few minutes. No need to soak and ferment.I tried it out using bajji maavu.Very simple it is
- Bajji Batter - as required
- Onion - 1 finely chopped
- Carrot - 1 small no: (grate it)
- Green chilly - 1 (finely chopped)
- Curry leaves and Corinader leaves - little (finely chopped)
- Oil - for making dosas
Refer the following link for Bajji Batter Preaparation
Method
- Take bajji batter in a bowl.Add the rest of the mentioned items to it and mix well
- Heat a tawa.Pour a ladle of batter on to the hot tawa and spread it out in the form of a circle using the back side of ladle
- Now add 1/2 teaspoon of oil around the edges of dosa.Cook on a medium flame
- Wait for 2 minutes.Once it starts to brown flip it / turn over to the other side using a wet dosai thiripi
- Take it out after a minute
- Serve hot with any chutney / sambar
