Sprouted Green Gram Gravy



Ingredients

  • Sprouted Green Gram - 200 g
  • Tomato - 3
  • Butter or Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Jeera - 1 teaspoon
  • Green Chilly - 1 or more (slit it)
  • Chilly Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Milk or Fresh Cream (Amul) - 1 cup
  • Coriander Leaves - garnish


Method

1. Boil the sprouted green gram in cooker for 3-4 whistles.Keep 1 ladle of boiled gram aside


2. Puree the tomatoes along with 1 ladle of cooked gram
3. Melt butter in a pan and add cumin seeds.After a minute add tomato puree (done in step 2) and green chillies.Heat it for 5 minutes till the raw smell diffuses


3. Now add all the powders along with a pinch of turmeric.Mix well and leave it for 3 minutes.Add salt
4. Mix the boiled gram and add milk or cream.Let it boil for 5 minutes



5. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.Serve it with Rotis



NB:

If it is not a sprouted gram.Soak the gram for about 45 minutes before boiling it in pressure cooker
