This kheer / Paysam could be prepared in a jiffy

- Milk - 4 cups
 - Sugar - 3/4 cups
 - Custard powder (any flavour) - 2 tablespoons
 - Milk maid - 2 tablespoons
 
- Dissolve custard powder in 1 cup of warm milk without any lumps
 - Boil remaining milk
 - Lower the flame and add sugar.Let it dissolve well.Keep stirring it continuously to prevent burning
 - Add custard mixed milk and stir for another 5 minutes
 - Switch off the stove and add milk maid.Mix well
 - Serve it chilled
 - Top it with cut fruits if desired
 
Variations
- You may dissolve saffron strands in little milk and add it to the kheer
 - Can also add fried cashews and chopped almonds
