- Maida - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1 1/2 - 2 cups
- Milk maid - 3 tablespoons
- Ghee - 2 teaspoons + 5 teaspoons + 3 tablespoons
- Kesari powder - a pinch
- Cashews - 10 nos
Method
- Fry cashews in 2 teaspoons of ghee and keep it aside
- Now fry maida in 5 teaspoons of ghee.Do it for 3 minutes in low flame.Maida should not become brown
- Take sugar in a vessel and cover it with water (till the sugar gets immersed).Allow the sugar to dissolve and let it form one string consistency
- Slowly add maida and keep stirring it in medium flame for 5 minutes
- Now add milk maid and kesari powder dissolved in little milk.Keep stirring for 7 minutes in a low flame
- Add remaining ghee and stir for some more more time
- Top it with fried cashews
