Ingredients
- Milk - 1/2 L
- Oats - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Saffron threads - few (optional)
- Elachi powder - a pinch (optional)
- Cashews and dry grapes - 1 tablespoon
- Ghee - 1 tablespoon
- Boil milk.Switch off the stove and put saffron threads and a pinch of elachi powderin it.Leave it covered for 10 minutes
- Dry fry the oats and powder it in a mixer
- In the same kadai fry cashews and dry grapes in ghee.Keep it aside
- Pour the boiled milk in another vessel and add oats powder to it.Mix well
- Add sugar and switch on the stove
- Keep stirring it for 5 minutes in a simmer flame.This timing is enough as oats thickens very quickly
- Garnish it with fried cashews and dry grapes and turn off the stove
Serve it warm
