- Drumstick - 2 nos (chopped lengthwise)
- Brinjal - 5 nos(chopped lengthwise)
- Mango - 1 n: (cut it into small cubes)
- Tomato -1 (chop into small cubes)
- Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
- Sambar Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Chilly Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoons
- Oil - 2 teaspoon
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Hing - little
- Red Chilly - 1 no:
- Curry leaves - little
- Cooked and Mashed Toor dal - 1 cup
Method
- In a kadai heat 1 teaspoon of oil and fry tomatoes in it
- Now add the cut drumstick and brinjal pieces.Put turmeric and saute for 2 minutes
- Pour about 1 cup of water and allow it to cook
- Add the mango pieces and mashed toor dhal.Mix well
- Put salt, sambar powder and chilly powder.Boil it
- In a separate kadai pour 1 teaspoon of oil and season with mustard, hing, red chilly and curry leaves
- Pour the seasonings over cooked sambar
