- Milk - 1 litre or 8 cups
- Sugar - 2 1/2 cups
- Sooji / Rava - 1 cup
- Ghee - 2 tablespoons
- Dry roast sooji in a kadai.Take it out
- In the same kadai add ghee and roast sooji in ghee
- Once done pour the milk along with sugar
- Allow it to boil.Then simmer the flame and stir for 5 minutes.You will see the kheer becoming thick
- Switch off the stove at this stage
- Serve it warm
