This is a common version of Bajji Maavu preparation.Any bajji can be prepared using this batter
Ingredients
Part 1 - Flours
Now "Bajji Maavu" is ready
Note
Make sure to add only a pinch of Baking Soda otherwise bajji will be scattered in oil
Ingredients
Part 1 - Flours
- Rice Flour - 1 cup
- Besan / Kadalai maavu - 1/2 cup
- Maida / All Purpose flour - 1/2 cup
- Orange food colour - a pinch (optional)
Part 2
- Chilly Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Hing - 1/4 teaspoon
- Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 11/2 teaspoons
- Baking soda - a pinch
- Curd - 1 ladle
Method
- Take all the mentioned flours in a bowl (part 1)
- Now add the items given in Part 2 (except curd)
- Now add curd and mix well
- Add water little by little to adjust to dosa batter consistency ie dropping consistency
Now "Bajji Maavu" is ready
