- Rajma - 1 cup
Part 2 - Tadka
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Green Chilly - 2 (Slit)
- Ginger - a small piece
- Tomato - 2 nos(finely chopped)
Part 3- Masala / Spices
- Coriander Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Kashmiri Chilly Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam Masala Powder - 1 teaspoon or little more
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Part 4 - Topping / Garnishing
- Kasuri Methi - 1 tablespoon
- Coriander leaves - 1 tablesppon
- Lemon Juice - 1/2 lemon (optional)
Step 2 - Tadka
- Melt butter and season with cumin seeds
- Fry green chillies and ginger in it
- Add chopped tomatoes and saute till raw smell goes
- Put all spice powders mentioned in Part 3 (except salt)
- Pour water from cooked rajma and let it boil
Step 3 - Rajma
- Add boiled and mashed Rajma
- Put salt and mix well
- Add crushed kasuri methi leaves
- Garnish with coriander leaves and swtich off the stove
- Squeeze lemon if needed
Serve hot with Phulkas.Top it with 1/2 teaspoon of butter before serving
