Badam Kheer

Ingredients
  • Milk - 1/2 liter + 1/2 cup
  • Badam - 3/4 - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 1 1/4 cups
  • Saffron strands - 6
Method
  • Soak badam in warm water for 1/2 hour
  • Peel the skin and grind it along with 1/2 cup of milk.It will be a thick paste
  • Heat the paste in a wide mouthed pan for 7 minutes in a low flame.Stir it continuously
  • Add sugar to it and let it dissolve in low flame
  • Pour 1/2 liter of milk and mix well.Give it a boil
  • Dissolve saffron strands in little milk and add it
  • Serve it chilled
