200th Post Special - Nutella Burfi

Since this is a very special post Iam delighted to present a unique sweet / burfi made out of nutella.This is absolutely "my innovation" and its my pleasure to share this recipe as my "200-th Post".This is a simple recipe so anyone can try this

Part 1 - Blending
  • Nutella - 6 tablespoons
  • Mawa / Plain Khova - 100g / 1 cup
  • Milk Powder - 100g / 1 cup
  • Milk - 1 cup

Part 2 - Others
  • Butter - 25 g or more
  • Broken cashews - 1/2 cup
  • Whole cashews - little for decoration (optional)
No sugar is added in the recipe because "nutella and milk powder" already contains sugar

Step 1 - Blending
  • Pour milk in a mixing bowl.Add nutella to it and blend it using a whisk wire
  • Add khova to it and blend it well 
  • Now pour this mixture into a thick bottomed kadai.Put milk powder into it and beat well without any lumps

Step 2 - Burfi Preparation
  • Switch on the gas stove and stir the above mixture in a medium flame
  • When it starts emitting bubbles add butter to it

  • Mix it well and you will be able feel mouth watering aroma of chocolate within 5 minutes
  • Add broken cashew nuts now and mix it well
  • Stir it continuously.At one stage the mixture will start leaving the sides of kadai
  • Keep on stiring it till the entire mixture condense like a ball as seen in the picture
Step 3 - Burfi Pieces
  • Now transfer it into a greased tray and pat it with a spatula
  • When it is warm cut into small pieces / desired shape.Fix cashew piece on each and every burfi if needed

Mouth melting "Nutella Burfi" is ready.Relish it again and again
