Dry Fruits Milkshake

Extremely healthy and filling milkshake for kids after they come from school to boost up their energy

Ingredients
Part 1 - Dry Fruits
  • Fig - 2 nos (roughly chopped)
  • Dried grapes (with seed) - 2 nos
  • Walnuts - 3 or 4 (break it)
  • Cashews - 5 nos
  • Pista - 5 nos
  • Almonds / Badam - 3 nos
  • Kesar / Saffron strands - 2 nos
Part 2 - Others
  • Milk - 300 ml + little for soaking (use boiled and cooled milk only)
  • Raw sugar / nattu sakkarai / unrefined cane sugar - 2 teaspoons (or) Honey - little

Method
Step 1 - Soaking
  • Soak all the dry fruits in warm milk for about 4 hours

Step 2 - Dry Fruits Milkshake
  • Now we have soaked dry fruits, milk and raw sugar
  • First put the soaked dry fruits (along with milk used for soaking) in a mixer jar and run it once
  • Now pour milk and add raw sugar.Blend it once more
  • If using honey top it at the time of serving
  • Now rich, healthy and yummy dry fruit milkshake is ready.Serve it slightly chilled
