Ingredients
- Chopped Yam - 4 cups
- Red Chilly Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Salt - 2 teaspoons
- Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoons
- Oil - 2 teaspoon
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Curry leaves - few
- Hing - 1/2 teaspoon
- In a bowl take chopped yam.Add salt, red chilly powder and turmeric to it.Mix well
- Steam it for 5 minutes .It will be half cooked only
- In a kadai heat oil and splutter mustard seeds, hing and curry leaves.Also add a pinch of turmeric
- Now transfer the steamed curry and swirl it
- Wait it is completely cooked
Serve it with Lemon Rice, Vathakuzhambu Saadham
