Wheat Rava Kesari (aka) Lapsi

This is my 10-th post for this month and hence a sweet recipe.Milk is used in this sweet so the ghee quantity is reduced

  • Wheat Rava / Da;ia- 1 cup
  • Milk - 2 cups (can also add water instead of milk / even a combo of milk and water will do)
  • Ghee - 21/2 tablespoons
  • Sugar - 1 cup or as required
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan and roast the wheat rava till good aroma comes

  • Transfer into another vessel used in pressure cooker.Pour milk and pressure cook for 1 whistle

  •  After the pressure releases transfer it to a kadai and add sugar to it.Blend it very well till the sugar dissolves

  • Add the remaining ghee to it and mix well till the ghee is absorbed
  • Wheat Rava Kesari is ready.Serve it when it is hot
