Apple Almond and Dates Smoothie

Now that summer has started and we prefer Juices / Milkshakes / Ice creams over solid foods.Here is a smoothie recipe which keeps us full atleast for 2 hours
Again its for Kids as well as weight watchers.Use full cream milk for kids and skimmed milk for diet conscious people

  • Boiled and cooled milk (full cream or skimmed) - 250 ml
  • Almonds - 4 nos
  • Dates - 2 nos
  • Apple - 1 (pee the skin if needed and chop into small pieces)
  • Grated coconut - 1 tablespoon (optional)
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon (optional)
  • Take almonds and dates along with little milk in a mixer jar and grind it
  • Put chopped apple pieces into it and grind it smooth

  • Then pour milk and grated coconut.Grind it smooth

Now transfer into serving glass and top it with honey if needed
