திடீர் மோர் குழம்பு /Instant Buttermilk Gravy / Instant Mor Kozhambu / Dhideer Mor Kozhambu

This is infact much easier than Raw Buttermilk Gravy / Pachai Mor Kozhambu which I had shared earlier.This particular recipe is done with left over "Coconut Chutney"

Here also the steps are similar to Pachai Mor Kozhambu preparation
  • Churning curd with salt ,hing and turmeric
  • Mixing coconut chutney with curd
  • Finally seasoning with mustard and curry leaves for good aroma

Ingredients
Part - 1 Buttermilk
  • Thick curd - 4 cups
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon or more
  • Hing - little
  • Turmeric - little
Part 2 - Coconut Chutney
  • Coconut Chutney - 1 cup or even more

Part 3 - Seasoning and Garnishing
  • Oil / ghee - 1 tablespoon
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Channa dhal / Broken urad dhal - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green chilly - 2 (slited)
  • Ginger - little
  • Curry leaves - 2 or 3
  • Chopped coriander leaves - little
Method
  • Churn buttermilk with salt, hing and turmeric
  • Add coconut chutney and blend again
  • Meanwhile do seasoning with the given ingredients (except corainder)

  • Pour it over the buttermilk  and mix well
  • Your instant mor kozhambu is ready.Mix with rice and serve along with pickle
